Welcome to Catholic Charities’ online community. We are a human services organization, deeply rooted in faith, and committed to having a profound impact in the communities and on the lives of those we assist and serve.

Catholic Charities is known for its compassionate care, with a standard of excellence second to none. I view my leadership of Catholic Charities as a calling because my personal goal is to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day.  This is what happens at Catholic Charities.  Our employees, volunteers and community partners feel the same way.        

We are a family of 2,000 employees, 15,000 volunteers, and 15,000 donors.  We welcome and serve people of all faiths, educate others about the circumstances of those we assist and serve, and advocate for them and for a just society.  What enables us to do this is our recognition of and dedication to cherishing the Divine within every person.

Through the personal commitment and ministry of our employees, volunteers, and donors, the work done in our 80 programs improves the circumstances and lives of 160,000 individuals and families every year. We serve people who suffer from poverty, children and families, seniors, and those who live with developmental disabilities.

We are all blessed with our own gifts and we are called to share them. As you visit our site, you will see that you can make a meaningful difference in our community and in people’s lives.  I invite you to serve, volunteer, and donate.
